I was awarded a prize at University in 1999 for my hard work, achievements and grades on my HND Leisure and Sport Management course, by The Board of Examiners.  Pictured above I was presented my prize by George McKinney (He was the Chair of the Board of Examiners and the Head of School, Leisure and Sports Studies), with Chris Wolsey (the course leader) at my first Graduation Ceremony.

I was delighted to be nominated and gain Highly Commended in the Harrogate Mumbler Awards two years running in 2018 & 2019 in the Business Parent of the Year category. I was also nominated and recognised in the Love Local Mumbler Awards 2020 as a Winner in the 3 categories of Lockdown Local Hero, Virtual Class, Activity or Event & We’d Have Been Lost Without You for my online classes throughout the coronavirus lockdown.

I am very grateful and blessed to work with such lovely class members and PT clients, who have expressed so many supporting comments and kind words in the Mumbler Awards. There is not enough space to fit them all in!

I have been a Finalist in the Knaresborough Business Awards 2022, 2023 in the Favourite Class & Activity category. Most recently I have been shortlisted for Healthcare & Wellbeing Category 2024.
