ABOUT ME
welcome to Emergy Fitness & Wellbeing

I am Emma Spalding, BA(Hons), – the Business owner, specialist Personal Trainer & Rehabilitation Instructor of Emergy Fitness & Wellbeing. I am the “Em” in Emergy! I work with people of all ages and levels of fitness in Knaresborough, Harrogate and the surrounding area to help them achieve their personal health and fitness goals.
You can choose to work one-to-one where I will create a tailored fitness plan for you or select from a wide range of varied classes. During the current pandemic, I have continued to deliver live each week using a private membership group on Facebook. A subscription provides access to a video library of over 300+ workouts – online. I strongly believe that exercise contributes to a positive mindset and you will benefit physically, mentally and socially from regular participation with my specialist Instruction.
I take your health and fitness seriously! I have 28 years experience in the fitness industry and I continue to invest in my own learning to bring the latest thinking and the best service possible to my clients. I am qualified at Level 4 in Cardiac rehabilitation with the BACPR and am an ESCAPE-Pain instructor for those coping with osteoarthritis and/or chronic joint pain. I am a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer, L3 GP Exercise Referral Instructor, along with also being qualified at Level 3 in Ante/Post NataI Fitness and many other disciplines. I am one of the specialist trainers on the NHS parliamentary award winning service ACTIVE AGAINST CANCER Instructor Team at Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust, working to deliver activity programmes and exercise guidance to improve cancer patient outcomes in Harrogate
